When I was young my grandmother purchased a pony for me. I held onto it for a few years after she passed as it reminded me of her but my mother unceremoniously tossed it (she was unaware of its sentimental value). So I'm looking for info on it so I can repurchase.

It was fuzzy and pink with cherries on the butt.

Also, my husband doesn't think I should buy one off ebay because he thinks it's been "defiled" "somehow" by some brony LOL, but I think it'll probably be OK

Bronies get such a bad rap.  I think I had that same pony but I'm not sure what it's called.

Re: Pony Question

Bronies deserve every inch of the bad rap they get. They earned it.

This all day, every day.

Not to hijack the thread but I just realized something. Was nss (non so-soft) Cherries Jubilee released in the States? I only had the flocked one as a child. And the one I found in that thrift store was sans flocking. Even under her hooves. She was in near mint condition, so if she had been deflocked it was a pro job. Cause there wasn't a hint of fuzz or paint disturbance to be found.

Re: Pony Question

Yep, she was most definitely available in the US. Non-so-soft CJ was one of my most-wanted ponies as a kid.

Re: Pony Question

Yeah, she definitely was. I had her.

Had being the key word here.

Eternally giving the side-eye to my late father for selling them without asking me first.

Re: Pony Question

Good to know. I learned me things. I never had the non so soft version of her as a child. So I had no clue of which version was aviable where.

Pfft I give my father the side eye for ditching/destorying many of my belongings. Ponies included in that.
